Count/Rank formula?

Hi guys,

This is probably quite simple but it's really stumping me. I will try to explain.

Cell F5 to F13 will contain the name Sam. In cell E5 to E13, I want it to list number 1 in cell E5, number 2 in E6 etc.

Then in cell F14 to F20, if the name Ryan appears, I want it to list number 1 in E14, 2 in E15 etc going all the way down.

Does that make sense? I literally just want a number count start from 1 to the left of each name, and when the name changes in the list, I want it to start the count again.
