    If statement with multiple criteria

    Hello all,

I am having trouble coming up with the best formula to use for my current predicament.

I am trying to use a conditional formatting formula to highlight certain criteria but there is more than one criteria I am looking at. The criteria will always be the same format of either CLR, FEW, SCT, BKN, OVC. Essentially what I want to do is compare two different cells and if they don't match the criteria it gets highlighted red.

The comparisons I need to do are from Cell T5 and AP10. I need it to compare if cell T5 shows CLR, FEW, or SCT and cell AP10 shows BKN or OVC, cell T5 gets highlighted. I would also need it to do the reverse as well, so if T5 shows BKN or OVC and cell AP10 shows CLR, FEW, or SCT cell T5 gets highlighted.

Hopefully that makes sense, if not I can try to make a quick example sheet.

    Thanks for any help!

    -Chris

Awesome, thank you very much! That seemed to work!

I'm still fairly new with Excel so the OR/AND formulas always kind of confuse me.
