I have a sample worksheet attached with a formula that doesn't work in cell H8. I am attempting to add together all fees that were charged in a particular state. For instance, there were three occasions where work was done in CA. I wish to be able to select any state in cell H6 from a drop down menu and return a total of all fees charged in that state only. Can someone help me with this?
The formula would be:
=SUMIF(A6:A16,H6,C6:C16)
