hope you guys are having a good day
i have this workbook which shows figures for monthly sales with daily entries made. Most of the sheets are blank except for some values in the march sheet.
The first sheet is a daily sheet which shows the same items as in the monthly sheets.
What i want is a formula to do this
1. whenever i make dollar value entries in the daily sheet it should automatically get copied into the monthly sheet. the position in which it shall get copied will be based on the date i put in the daily sheet. Only the total column in the daily sheet needs to be copied. The 1st and 2nd can be ignored for this.
2. Also when i am done i should be able to clear the daily sheet( but the transposed values in the monthly sheets do not get cleared) and then i can change the date on the daily sheet and make fresh entries in the daily sheet again and essentially be able to repeat step 1.
I think the second bit will need some form of macros which i am really just starting to learn. Your help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help
