Find Closet Date comparing 1 column to a row of dates across 60 months

Trying to find the closest date from a row which holds dates for earlist investment date as compared to a column K of dates which has planned investment dates. So if cash becomes available earlier, column I returns the earlier date. Im using the following formula but it returns 3/4/20 for 3 months when eailer dates of feb and march are also available.

    =IFERROR(INDEX(TestDate,MATCH(k10,TestDate,1)),"NO")

I'm not sure what is wrong with the formula...

Could you try this method to troubleshot it?

    1. Go to Formulas menu
    2. Look for Show Formulas

When I do that... what the formula did is looking for the closest date

Yes, exactly that... there is no problem with the formula and the return value. It choose the closest date.

Hope others can help you find the earlier date
