SUBTALLY columns

Hi,

Quite simple but not for me,
I want to create 2 subtally columns for invoice amount and GST, (Add up as we move down).
but I would like the formulas to copy down only if a figure is added to the invoice amount column in this Table.

Because I Tried the following and it doesnt work..
(but again i`d like the formula to copy down only when I enter a figure into the invoice amount column..

Ttry this=SUM(F$2:F2)
copied across as needed
