Complex Countif in a non typical table

Hi all,

I hope you are all well!

I use a system that reports in an usual Excel format and I would like to extract some data into an easy to read table in the form of a count.

Attached is a copy of the report and the results to the right of the report (the report is exactly how it is exported).

It is essentially counting down a table rather than across however, below one set of data another set of data starts.

Very difficult to explain but the attached reflects it well.

(moderators - please advise if title is applicable or requires changing)

or
=COUNTIF(INDEX(B:B,MATCH(P8,B:B,)):INDEX(B:B,MATCH("Totals:",INDEX(B:B,MATCH(P8,B:B,)):B9999,)+MATCH(P8,B:B,)),R$7)
