Hi all,
Despite the search feature, I have not been able to find a solution to my problem which is most certainly an easy one. I put the blame on my inability to find the correct keywords.
My goal is to create a sheet with formulas that I will keep as a model; I will duplicate and rename this model before using it.
In this renamed sheet, let's call it "Result1", I will enter a string "Data1" in A1. This value in A1 will actually be the name of another existing sheet.
What I want to achieve is that the formulas in "Result1" will look for the data they need in the sheet named as in A1 (i.e. "Data1")
Data1
=SheetNameAsInA1!A2
The problem is that I have been unable to find the proper syntax for the "SheetNameAsInA1" part.
If this is not clear, I hope that the example attached will clarify my question.
Thank you in advance for your help!
