Hi
When you say missing, where are you looking?
In the Data tab? or somewhere else
Which update channel are you on?
You must be using Office 365 subscription. If you are on Semi-Annual channel, make sure that you have July 2020 update.
From MS article.
Edit: I can confirm it's available to Office 365, Version 2008 for Current channel.Note: This function is currently available to Microsoft 365 subscribers in Current Channel. It will be available to Microsoft 365 subscribers in Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel starting in July 2020. For more information on how features are rolled out to Microsoft 365 subscribers, see When do I get the newest features in for Microsoft 365.

Thank you. What cross posting? I posted only once in this forum. The only other post I made, as per your link (!), is in MrExcel.com not on this forum... What has another forum got to do with this?
What is an update channel mentioned above?
Are you using Excel 2019?
Yes I am.
I am also considering using 365 but my understanding is that it is online only? Perhaps it is incorrect? I need to work on it offline.
1) Is it possible to install 365 on a PC like the normal office and work for days offline (for example while I am travelling or on holiday)?
2) if yes then can it work next to the normal office 2019?
3) if yes to (1) then what is the logic behind 365 and what is different from the normal office?
Thank you again
365 is a subscription version - it includes a desktop version of Office which gets updates to its functionality - when exactly that happens is determined by which release channel you are set up for. That allows IT departments to test updates etc before they are released to you, rather than being blindsided by an update that may have bugs. You can also sign up to the Insider program to get early release to new features, which is basically beta testing.
Thank you,
does it mean that the classic Office will eventually be discontinued? If so are there any indications of time frames?
1) Yes. You can install desktop application on up to 5 devices with single license.
2) While this is possible, I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you are a developer and need to test different versions. Even then, I'd recommend use of virtual machine, rather than installing 2 different versions of Office side by side.
3) It's based on subscription model. Which allows MS to have steady revenue to keep updating software, without need for customer to purchase separate licenses for each major version.
Office 365, have moved from Office 2013, 2016 to 2019.
This works well for enterprise, business customers. Though some prefer one time purchase over subscription model, and MS kept that as option.
Who knows? It's pretty clear that MS favours a subscription model but I suspect there are still some enterprises that prefer a static version (other than patches) and, as long as that is the case, I'd imagine there will still be such versions.
Oh... ok then the classic Office will not be developed any further nor be available in the future (i.e. Office 2021 or something like that). Office 365 IS the latest of the classic Office (i.e. lets call it Office 2021). Correct?
Thank you
Not quite. Current Office 365 is equivalent of Office 2019, with additional tools and functions. While MS is strongly pushing toward subscription model, I'd wager they will keep standalone license for while yet.... (i.e. Office 2021 or something like that)
so any idea IF and when they will include SORT() and FILTER() functions in the classic office?
Any way I can find out or anywhere to check?
They won't be added to 2019. At best, you'd have to get the next static version, assuming there is one.
And if MS hold to their usual schedule... it will likely be Office 2022 release likely in late 2021.
Since they've been keeping 3 year cadence, since Office 2007.
