SUM data based on row with criteria

Hi I have an excel like below

Data is from C to K
I need a formula in A and B to capture the sum of all V1 and V2 respectively. I tried using sumproduct, but i am getting count of V1 and V2 respectively but i need the sum of the V1 next column and V2 next columns respectively.

2 V1 V2
3 -- -- 1.5 .75 xyz V1 1.0 abc V1 .5 xyz V2 .75

Can anyone help me out in this regard.

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
