    Multiply one cell by multiple criteria, depending on the value.

    Hi,

    I hope I'm explaining what I want to do correctly here.

    I'm attempting to create a formula that will multiply a cell by multiple options, depending on the value of that cell. This is for sales/commission purposes, for example;

    If Jane sold between 1-6 units she would be paid at $75 per unit, and if she sold between 7-12 units she would be paid at $100 per unit (13-18 sales = $150 per unit and 19+ sales = $200 per unit)

    So what I'm looking to do is enter in the total sales made by Jane into a cell, and depending on that number it would then calculate the commission in another cell using the above criteria. See below for an image:

    Let me know if further details or an example spread sheet is needed, thank you in advance.

    Either use a little LOOKUP table and tis formula:

    =LOOKUP(D2,$J$2:$J$5,$K$2:$K$5)

    or hard code the values into the formula:

    =LOOKUP(D2,{0,6,13,19},{75,100,150,200})

    and, yes! a sheet is always helpful. Much more helpful than a non-editable picture of one...

    Hi Glenn, thanks for the reply and apologies for not including a sheet initially.

    From your workbook I'm wondering how do I apply it to the table I would be using to calculate the commissions.
    I'm not sure if I done it correctly, but I was receiving a result that 7 sales would total $100, when really it should become 7 * 100 = $700.

    I've edited your workbook (attached) to see if you could help me with this.

    Thanks again.
