Re: Manage Data using if function

    Sorry for off-topic interjection:

Although there is no official rule regarding this behavior, we request that wherever possible both the question AND the answer be provided in substantive detail here within the thread. An attached workbook is an excellent aid for posing a question and offering a solution, but solely doing that with no in thread explanation makes it difficult for researchers to understand or consider the Q & A of this thread without downloading what may be a pointless doc to them, if they can do that at all. Doing that also hides the content from search engines so others may never benefit from this.

I'm sure you understand, and we look forward to seeing you post your formulas/macros in your posts for the searching benefit of all.

Thanks again for all your hard work here!

The sample is quite different from your image!
    Yes/No instead of stick
    Good/VC instead of Yes/No in column Q
Column Q, how to decide it is Good or VC?

Image is the bases of the calculating result out of Terms. suppose the mark of tick or cross is to Yes or No in image.
And when the tick yes or No in respective cell according to Image, the result should be calculate MV or VC automatically.
The data should be collect as sample file. And result should.

No - that's not clear. Explain how I should decide whether to use Good or VC or MC in the final column - what are the criteria?

Re: Manage Data using if function

In sample file if any one in the red column 'Yes' result should be directly MC, and if in only both Column 'G' and 'H' "Yes" MC and
only one column G or H 'Yes" result VC, and like wise if only both column K and N 'Yes' MC. And Others will be result 'VC'.

The following formula yields the same results as those manually entered and seems to generally agree with the description in post #8:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
