Cost reversal (if a certain value, then all previous data in time series equal)

    Hello everyone,

First of all, forgive me the rather hopeless title. It's my best attempt a descriptive and searchable title.

    On to the problem:

I'm working with time series and cost reversal in accounting. The problem is as follows:

I want cells G24:S24 to show the value "-1", while cells T24 and onwards should be empty or zero. The determining factor is S23 and I want all previous cells in the time series to show that same number as is seen in S23.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Best regards,

    Mr Fisherman

    Welcome to the forum.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

Thank you - I appreciate it.

Unfortunately I can't do that due to privacy concerns. I hope the attached picture clearifies my problem.
