Ignore Errors within Errors in a Sum Formula

Hi all,

A simple one as the title says, I want to make a sum that ignores errors within errors.
Please see example sheet.

The formula in column B adds the two numbers in each cell in column C using a formula.

I then want to sum all of the numbers in column B as a result in Y2 with a new fomula.

I've given It a go with basic formulas such as =SUM(IF(ISERROR(B2:B1000)," ",B2:B1000)) but it gives a new error.
