Index/Match with Vertical & Horizontal Criteria

    Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can point me to why my formula does not work. I'm simply trying to match job numbers (column C) with dates listed in row 4. I've attached a sample workbook, I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. (Reference BC6 on the Viewpoint - BLog-P&P) tab.

    Thanks for your help.

    Try this:

    =INDEX('Revenue Spread'!$E$8:$BP$10000,MATCH($C6,'Revenue Spread'!$E$8:$E$10000,0),MATCH(BC$4,'Revenue Spread'!$F$7:$BP$7,0))

Re: Index/Match with Vertical & Horizontal Criteria

I gave you the correct syntax - I'd hoped you'd tweak the references yourself!

    Try this:

    =INDEX('Revenue Spread'!$U$8:$BP$10000,MATCH($C6,'Revenue Spread'!$E$8:$E$10000,0),MATCH(BC$4,'Revenue Spread'!$U$7:$BP$7,0))

??? I think that's still out, is it not???

    =IFERROR(INDEX('Revenue Spread'!$F$8:$BP$1000,MATCH($C5,'Revenue Spread'!$E$8:$E$1000,0),MATCH(BC$4,'Revenue Spread'!$F$7:$BP$7,0)),"")
