Link an image to cell value to display specific images

Hey Guys,

I was jus wondering if it is possible to formulate a cell so that it displays a certain number of images, depending on the linked cell?

From the image, I would ideally like to display the number of yellow cars (each car image representing 10 cars), depending on the value that is in the cell with the value 39, to show how many fewer cars would be on the road, based on the figures above. So for the example in the picture, Approx 3 cars would be displayed.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Peter. I am not fully understanding what you mean by "linked cell". Do you specifically mean by the number in a specific cell, in your case the one with 39 in it? So if it says 40 instead, the image board would show 4 cars?
So basically if the image board were comprised of 10 cells, say, g1-h5, and the number 39 was in E5, each could have a formula such as if(E5>9,true,"") and h1 could have if(E5>19,true,""), etc. the cells would display the car image when true?
So with the cell showing 39, 3 cells would show TRUE and would show 3 images of the car. Am I understanding that correctly?

Thanks for this! Yes that's what I meant. So 39 above was the particular value in that case, so I'd like 3 cars to appear, and exactly as you say, if the value was 40, 4 cars would appear. From what you said, I think that formula is exactly what I am looking for.

Hi Peter,
I did not have the time last night to look up my old formula so I scanned the forums and came up with this. The images are linked to the number in the green cell and will
show the image when their criteria is met, meaning when the number in green reaches a certain level.
There are named ranges and each image has a name, as well as formulas in the cells under the images. Some formulas are painted "white" so they do not show.
If you change the image in cell y2, it will change the image for all.
