I am trying to find a solution to opening a workbook based on another workbook or code being present on the computer. If the code or workbook is there, the workbook will open otherwise it wont. I am hoping this will stop someone copying the file and opening it on another computer. Any help would be appreciated.
Excel security is notoriously weak. Anyone trying to open your file without the source file will automatically be given the option or opening without update. Not sure if there may be a VBA option for this though.
