Formula: Only count "Y"s in Column B if a certain criteria is met in Column A

This is probably very basic but I am simply not finding the answer!

I want to have a formula that if Column A on another tab is for example "region 1" then the "Y"s in Column B are counted

So in attached on the Coverage Tab I want a formula in row 4 that counts from the practice visit tab: Ony counts the Ys in col C if it says region 1 in Col A.

Thanks for the welcome! That doesn't seem to quite work, I am adding in the range numbers and the region number but it seems to be picking up the region from the coverage tab not the practice visit tab, feels like I need another ( in there.
