Getting rounded numbers to add up

Hi, hopefully this is a simple one.

I have a formula containing percentages of 11 which I need to result in whole numbers.

    I'm adding 41.7% + 35.7% + 15.8% +5.6% + 1.2%. (100%)

    This produces rounded figures of

    5 + 2 + 4 + 1 = 12

Is there a way for me to get this to result in the correct answer of 11.

    Many thanks

Your definition of correct is flawed.
If you round numbers there is a chance that the sum of the rounded numbers does not 'balance out' to the original number to which you are applying percentages of 100.

All you can do is adjust one or more of the rounded numbers by the difference between the rounded amounts and the difference between the original number and the sum of the rounded amounts

Okay, if it can't be done I'll have to do it manually. Many thanks.

That's fantastic. I've managed to cannibalise that into the results I need. Many thanks.
