Find Months and Days between 2 dates

Hi All,

How can i find out Which months and days in those month from a Start Date and End Date.

So if I have Start Date as 20th Jan 2021 and end date as 4th May 2021, the output should be
1. Jan 10 days
2. Feb 28 days
3. March 31 days
4. April 30 days
5. May 4 days.

=Datedif(C2,C3, "M") gives me number of months
=Datedif(C2,C3, "D") gives me number of days.

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

You can set any 2 dates for Start and End. The table is independent of the years, and will show the difference up to 24 months. If more months are necessary, it can be extended via copy-paste.

If you have further questions, feel free to ask.


PS: My excel is in Spanish, so you might see month titles in Spanish. In such case it should be easily fixed by opening cell with F2 and pressing Enter without any edits.
