Assign a value to all line items of a group based on values of only a subset of the group

Hello,
>Suppose I have the following data where 1,2, etc. are some type of "event" which for our purposes doesn't matter. Commas are irrelevant and just shown to separate fields.

All the visual help that's necessary is provided directly in the thread. It's not any more complex than that. I don't know how providing the same data in a file will help. I appreciate all the help folks have provided in past threads however I've noticed some people on here get off screwing around with others that may have less subject matter expertise in a certain area. If you don't have a constructive response then just keep off the thread, get out of the way, and let others who are truly interested in helping respond.

Dude, I get it, you're from Philly :-). These guys don't understand. But you realize you're dissing guys that have thousands of responses on this forum and are Excel Experts?!! They're on here to help people. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

You're probably going to use an IF statement with COUNTIFS included, but we can't give specifics because we have no data.

This will probably be a very simple solution, especially for the guys above, so help yourself out.
