formula for accending and decending numbers

sir,
I want to know formula to arrange cells of a raw in accending and descending order. also want to drag formula to apply other raws also. pl advise.

Ascending

=SMALL($A2:$G2,COLUMNS($A:A))

Descending

=LARGE($A1:$G1,COLUMNS($A:A))
