combing indirect with a hlookup and with a calculation

    Hi all,

I am trying to combine 3 formula into 1.

    indirect
    vlookup
    calculation (minus and divide)

hlookup from the dropdown menu ( Q15 )

    then

indirect to Q17 (January tab )

    then
    Calculate
    (AN4-AN3-AN5)/(AN4-AN5)

There is no VLOOKUP formula in your sample sheet, nor is there any working drop-down. How are we expected to work our a formula for you without two of the three elements included???

Also you need to tell us what your expected result is (value).

Re: combing indirect with a hlookup and with a calculation

I have unmerged the cells, to help with locating the drop down menu (Q15)

I have added the expected results in column X & Y.

    for example.

from the drop down menu, if I select

Acton, then it will calculate 90% in January Tab.
Ealing, then it will calculate 50% in January Tab

    Put into R17:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

then drag it down for rest of months.
For unexisted months tab's it gives you 0% as there is no data.

    Check attached file.
