Hi,
I have 4 sheets. Sheet1 contains all the data. Sheet a should contain only data from the Sheet 1 where the column A contains value a. Same for the Sheet B and C

I need to calculate in the column B of sheet a totals of the values in sheet 1 in column c where they correspond to the specific value so like in B1 I need to have 549
Please advice

A picture is worth 1,000 words. An Excel sheet is worth 1,000 non-editable pictures.

Why 549? Did you mean 552? Please justify 549.
I get it now... Sheet A, B1, copied down:
=SUMPRODUCT((ISNUMBER(SEARCH("a",Sheet1!$A$1:$A$12)))*(ISNUMBER(SEARCH(A1,Sheet1!$B$1:$B$12)))*Sheet1!$C$1:$C$12)
