Formula for adding specific values based on data in other columns

Hi All,

I joined this forum today & I am looking forward to using & visiting it from now onwards.

I have a query related to adding specific values based on the day of the week (Public holidays & weekends). I attached the file with a comment explaining my query. I look forward to a response & thank you in advance

Paste it on N2 and drag it down to N32. Is it doing what you are expecting?

Hi Lem,

Thank you for the prompt response to my question.

Let me explain it quickly..there are a 3 conditions for the values in column N. If it is "Public Holiday" in column C2, N2 should be blank & the sum of J2:J3 should be in cell N3. The second condition is, if it is a "Fri" in C2, N2 should be the sum of J2:J4 (thus including the Qty Litres for Fri, Sat & Sun) & N3 and N4 should be blank. Otherwise N2 should be equal to the value in J2 (3rd condition).
