    Hi,
Required SLA Calculation formula based on TAT. In the attached data of Column-A "Investigations" there are multiple Test and for Each Test SLA TAT time is metnioned in the "Column - C "TAT", I request for the formula in Column F based on SLA Calculation (Authenticate Date - Distribute Date) the result shold be if it is below the given TAT Time it should be as "Within SLA" and if the time is beyond given TAT Time it should be as "Beyond SLA".

    Request your Help in calculations

    Thank You,

    Regards

    Re: SLA Calculation

    Administrative Note:

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do: SLA means nothing to most people, so describe the calculation.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. No help to be offered until this moderation request has been fulfilled.)

You will also need to manually mock up some results (10-20 rows) in the sample file and reattach it.

    Re: SLA Calculation

Column C is a bit of a mess and potentially misleading.

A mess: you have a mixture of times (00:40:00 or whatever) and ranges (2-5 days, or whatever). Dealing with a mixture like that adds a layer of complexity.

Misleading: In the case of 2-5 days... if it is done in 1.5 days, is that a TAT Pass or fail?

I suggest you reformat a smaller sample (10-20 rows, as requested... not hundreds) with an amended column C with ONLY maximum TATs (assuming 1.5 days is a pass) and some desired results, manually calculated.

EDIT: I note Ali's post above mine. Irrespective of the title change which has been requested, my comments do not amount to help and will need to be addressed anyway. I'll not return to the thread until the title change has been made.
    Glenn
