conditionals for low level beginner - excel timesheet

    Hi everyone,

I am about to format a time sheet for my work.

I already have the following features:

    - learned and managed to get a customizable table containing whole month day 1 - 31 or day 1 - 28 depending on the given month and year with displaying the weekday (this through cell formatting, condition if, cell + 1, iferror, datvalue, concatenate).

    - time: start, stop, pause, hours sum

    I still need:

    - field "target hours" -> differs by weekday. mon through thursday is 8, friday is 5 hours

    - I want the condition to be a subject to the actual weekday (e.g. 01.sept21 is wednesday -> 8 hours to work; 03.sept21 is friday -> 5 hours to work)

This is because I need the excel document to be flexible, I want to change the top month and year to get going any time.

    Thank you for assisting

    Welcome to the forum.

Please amend your profile with the OLDEST version of Excel that this needs to work for. Thanks.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.
