Work out some cashflows based on the life of some assets to be renewed every year

    Hi All

I am trying to work out some cashflows based on the life of some assets that will need to be renewed every x years. For example, an asset that has a life of 3 years will need to appear in the cashflow in year 3, 6, 9, 12 etc. I can't for the life of me work out how to do it as the only way I can think of doing it is nesting formulas within a sumif formula which I don't think you can do.

Can anyone have a look and advise the easiest way to populate the table in the right of the work sheet?

    Cheers, Dave

    If i understand ..

    in K10

    =IF(MOD(COLUMNS($I$1:J1),$C$6)=0,$J10,"")

    copy across

and I would change your formatting to columns A:C i.e move E:G down to A:C
