Hi, everyone!
I'm trying to set up a sheet where I want A3 to be highlighted if A4 contains "AM".
Formulas I've tried in the "use a formula..." option:
=SEARCH("AM",A4)
=SEARCH("AM",$A4)
=SEARCH("AM",$A$4)
=ISNUMBER(SEARCH("AM",A4))
I've been trying to follow guides, and straight up copy+pasting same formulas, but I'm always getting the "there's a problem with this formula" error.
Hope someone can help me. Thank you!

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
No reason why =ISNUMBER(SEARCH("AM",A4)) won't work.
Upload the workbook so we can check. without ISNUMBER =SEARCH("AM",A4)>0 will also work.
