    Insert Data in to a cell

    Hello everyone,

    First thread...

    I am trying to insert data into a specific cell.
    For example, I have a table grid of 4 by 4.
    I will tell excel to insert "*" into (row:3, column:4) and the formula will insert the "*".

    1 2 3 4

    2

    3 *

    4

    How do I do that?
    Does the formula need to be in every cell in the table or not?

    Assuming that you type the row number in a cell and the column number in another, make a table with 1,2,3,4 label for row and the same for column and insert a formula in every cell of that table:
