Show 1 day instead 0 days between dates

    Hi all,

Simple query - if there's two dates (UK format) in cells A2 and A3 i.e

    01/12/2021 (A2) and 01/12/2021 (A3) = both dates mean 1ST dECEmber 2021.

How can I write a formula in cell A1 such as A3-A2 = 1 instead A3-A2 = 0? Basically I want the answer to be 1 to show this is '1 days' worth of work on a project, not '0' days. Do I need to use an IF or something?

    Thank you
    Thanks,

    R.

Re: Show 1 day instead 0 days between dates

    =(A3-A2)+1

    so (02/12/2021 - 01/12/2021) = 2 days

    No accounting for weekends!

    Try this:

    =NETWORKDAYS.INTL(A2,A3)

    which will account for weekends.

    You're welcome.

NETWORKDAYS.INTL can also be configured to ignore holidays.
