    Talking Training Past Due

    So attached is a sample of what I have so far, as I keep track of training being done in our warehouse.

    I have it almost exactly how I want it, except a few minor things. The status box will change based on values in the cells to the left of it and then change more based on conditional formatting. Right now everything in Red is past due and how many days past due. I have fiddled with it and I've just hit a roadblock of my knowledge of Excel. I would like for if it's Red to display as such "(8) Days Past Due" and if it's yellow which is within 5 days of being due to say "Due in (3) Days".

    My guess is a few If formulas will do it but am unsure how to proceed from here.

    Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum.

    Not sure, but does this get you closer to what you are after?

    =IF(H7="","",IF(H7 < TODAY(),"Past Due",IF(NETWORKDAYS(TODAY(),H7)=$C$3,$C$3,"Complete")))

    Re: Training Past Due

    Appreciate the quick response, but it seems it just makes any cell past due white

    I know it's not right - I asked if it gets you any closer. Look at the syntax and let us know.

    Re: Training Past Due

    It would be more helpful if you provided 10-15 rows of manually calculated and coloured cells to show what you actually want rather than a formula that isn't working. Can you do this and post the workbook again, please? I am struggling to follow your description. Your thread title isn't terribly helpful, either, but I can't change it for you until I fully 'get' what you want.

    Yes, give me one minute and I'll do that!
