Disable Error Checking Rules

I have Excel 2019, and I'm able to disable Error Checking and Error Checking Rules by unchecking the relevant boxes. However, when Excel is restarted the boxes all contain checkmarks again.

I'd like to make this action permanent, can someone please tell me how to do it? I have no use for all those little markings, triangles, etc than appear on Worksheets.

Standard is to uncheck the boxes as needed and they stay like that till you check them again; don't even have to save a workbook. Just open Excel, goto the menu Options/Formulas, uncheck and close Excel, that's all.
No idea why this isn't happening with your Excel. Maybe you need to repair your Excel.
