Question IF Formula Shown FALSE Results

    Hello.

So i'm a noob in Excel. I'm trying to get a logic that is

"If column T is filled, it's already assessed. But if column T is empty, is either "Perform" or "Not Perform" based on the LOOKUP formula that i've inserted"

    My formula is
    =IF(T7<>"","Sudah Ases",IFERROR(VLOOKUP(D7,'Transit '!$Q$818:$Q$823,1,0),"Belum") = "Perform")

Please help me with my work. Thank you.

Re: IF Formula Shown FALSE Results

    Welcome to the forum.

    Maybe this???

    =IF(T7="",IF(VLOOKUP(D7,'Transit '!$Q$818:$Q$823,1,0)="Belum","Perform","Not Perform"),"Sudah Ases")

If not, there are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

    Hi there.

A picture is worth 1,000 words. An Excel sheet is worth 1,000 non-editable pictures.

Please read the yellow banner about sample worksheets, at the top of the screen. Act on its guidelines and post a SMALL sample sheet complete with an explanation and some expected results.

Your outcome is based on whether the value in D7 is found in Q818:Q823 on the Transit sheet? How about?

Also check the name of the "Transit " sheet really does have a space and make sure the "Perform" and "Not Perform" are the right way round - just swap them if not.

    Copy to clipboard
    =IF(T7<>"","Sudah Ases",IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(D7,'Transit '!$Q$818:$Q$823,0)),"Perform","Not Perform"))
