    SUMPRODUCT Problem Using Indirect Addressing

Hoping someone can help me with this one as banging my head against a brick wall !!

I have this formula working correctly

    HTML Code:
I need to make this Dynamic for the last row. I have a named Cell at the end of the area and

    HTML Code:

I then try to use this in the SUMPRODUCT as

    HTML Code:
Hoever this equates to Zero rather than the correct answer. If I remove the ROW from the above and enter 14 in the INDIRECT statement below it works fine.

    HTML Code:
Any ideas why using ROW(LastRow) doesn't seem to work ?

    Thanks

Re: SUMPRODUCT Problem Using Indirect Addressing

If you still need help, there are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Re: SUMPRODUCT Problem Using Indirect Addressing

avoid INDIRECT unless absolutely necessary... I suspect, here, you can just use a basic INDEX construct:

    =SUMPRODUCT(L9:INDEX(L:L,ROW(lastRow)),H9:INDEX(H:H,ROW(LastRow)))
