    Meal cost per person

    Hi, Please see attached sheet which has 3 tabs Orders, Menu and Headings, on the Orders tab i want to get cost of a persons meal based on selection from drop down list, Headings tab has the list of drop down headers with associated cost, ine tried using Sumifs and Sumproducts to no avail and cant see where im going wrong, any help or pointer in the correct direction would be appreciated

    See if this does what you want:

    =SUMPRODUCT(((Headings!$A$2:$A$16=C2)+(Headings!$A$2:$A$16=D2)+(Headings!$A$2:$A$16=E2))*(Headings!$B$2:$B$16))

    The difference was + instead of * (+ is OR, * is AND).
