    Extract Numbers From Cell

Ok so I have a program on AutoCAD that allows me to generate lengths that I configure into an excel sheet. Attached is a sample of what populates. Essentially, I want to find a way to extract the lengths of the conveyors and populate them as one rounded length in the adjacent column. For example, if a length is 5 ft., 6 in. I want the adjacent cell to gather that info and produce the number 6 (so every length always rounds up even if it is only 1 in. longer than the nearest foot). I have been messing with different commands but cannot figure it out for the life of me. Please help!

i have done this a different way
    =IF(RIGHT(B2,3)="in.",LEFT(B2,FIND("ft",B2)-2)*1+1,LEFT(B2,FIND("ft",B2)-2)*1)

if there are inches "in." - then round up +1
if not , then leave alone

    does that work ?

Yes that works great for me! Now I just need to figure out how to leave an empty cell if no length populates. Conveyors that are curves do not produce a length. In those instances "#VALUE!" populates.

    =IFERROR(IF(RIGHT(B2,3)="in.",LEFT(B2,FIND("ft",B2)-2)*1+1,LEFT(B2,FIND("ft",B2)-2)*1),"")
