For example
If B4 IS HAS A TEXT VALUE OF N IT WILL MULTIPLY BY 1.01
If B4 IS HAS A TEXT VALUE OF E IT WILL MULTIPLY BY 1.02
AND SO ON SO ON
For example
If B4 IS HAS A TEXT VALUE OF N IT WILL MULTIPLY BY 1.01
If B4 IS HAS A TEXT VALUE OF E IT WILL MULTIPLY BY 1.02
AND SO ON SO ON
Your description is FAR from clear. A guess:
=C2*LOOKUP(B2,{"E","N"},{1.02,1.01})
ensure that the values in red are in alphabetical order...

How did I not know about LOOKUP all this time? I have similar conditional situations in my file and I've been using ugly nested IF formulas all along. Thank you from me as well!
Ah, It's a lot like VLOOKUP, it's just that you're using it in a way I've never seen before (not cell ranges, but value ranges).
LOOKUP is, I think, VLOOKUP's father, ir grandfather. However it has lots of versatile features that come in handy almost every day.
