Copy Data from One Page to Another when Name Selected from Drop-Down

    Hi,

I'm making a form for customers and I'm trying to accomplish something that goes far out of my knowledge.

In the form, there would be two pages.

In the first page, there is a table with two columns. The customer needs for confirm his phone number in the first one and what type of services he is interested in in the second one. There would be 5 different types of services and the customer could choose the service he needs with a dropdown selection.

When the customer select the service named Automated Attendant (one of the 5 service available in the second column of the first page via the dropdown selection), I want the phone number to be copied in another table in the second page. Later on, the customer will fill this second page. So in summary, I want a phone number to be copied on the next page when the service automated attendant is selected in the first page.

This process will make my customer save time.

I'm new at Excel so let me know if you need further details!

Thank you in advance and have a great day!

    Welcome to the forum.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

    Administrative Note:

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. As you are new here, I have done it for you this time.)

    Second page A7:

    =FILTER('First page'!A8:A15,'First page'!B8:B15="Automated attendant")

Does this do what you want?
