HELP! I need help creating a spreadsheet that can give me the overall total interest rate on a late payment. I have to have the cumulative interest rate for late tax payments when the rate has to be calculated with different percentages for different quarters by month. Anyone have any advice? I've attached a rough example that a previous employee created.

Can we assume that the values displayed in column Z are incorrect?
If so could you provide a few correct values along with the math that is used to come up with those results so that we can attempt to replicate the correct values using Excel formulas/code.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
i think it's easier to make a table with your interest rates and the period they are valid and then with VBA (an UDF) calculate your total interest instead of such a sheet.
