Using a linked image formula within an IFS formula.

Hi, I am trying to display images based on values using an IFS function, no doubt there are better ways but this is what I have found works for me before I tried to put it in a function.
    • Sheet1 contains a column of images each within their own cell
    • Sheet2 contains a link to the cell containing the first image in Sheet1 (NOT the image itself) using ctrl+c > right click > paste special > linked picture

This will make a copy of the image from Sheet1 into Sheet2 and apply the formula to that linked picture "=Sheet1!$B$3" B3 being the location of the first image.

I can now change this image by changing the formula such as =Sheet1!$B$4

This is great for my purposes but I now want to change that into an IFS statement, and this is what I thought would work

    Formula: copy to clipboard

C5 is a numerical value, I am checking to see if it is less than a value, if it is less than that value it will update the linked picture.

However this does not work and it is telling me that the value_if_true "=Sheet1!$B$4" is not valid.

I have tried my best to explain this problem but can upload a screen recording if that makes it any easier to explain.

Define a name, say PicLink, using that formula. Then in the formula for your picture, use =PicLink
