    Count available employees per hour

    Hello everyone,

    I've seen this problem being solved numerous times on this forum, but I somehow can't get it to work.
    I have an Excel sheet where the availability of all my employees is shown. I want to be able to see how many employees are available to work per hour.
    I attached my sheet. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, and able to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you for the reply.
    Unfortunately this still doesn't generate the right numbers.
    According to the sheet, 8 employees are available on Monday from 6:00, while according to the hourly summary only 5 employees are available.
    I also don't understand why it stops counting after 22:00.

    Re: Count available employees per hour

    I created empty columns between the dates (with only "." in header) , so I need only 1 formula for the whole week:
    Please try in S4 and copy across and down:
    =SUM(
    ($B$3:$N$3=S$3)*
    (($C$5:$O$104>$B$5:$N$104)*($R4>=$B$5:$N$104)*($R4<$C$5:$O$104)+
    ($C$5:$O$104<$B$5:$N$104)*(($R4>=$B$5:$N$104)+($R4<$C$5:$O$104))))
