    IF with multiple criteria

Hello, need some help please on what formula to use to help a calculation.

So basically in column B, there is the answers to question 1.

    What I need is...

If the question answer is "Not Answered", "Yes", "No" then I need "N/A" to be auto formulated into cell in Column D.

But then If "Other" is in the answer column, I need that to show two things based on whats in Column C. If a cell in Column B = "Other" and a cell in**"Column C" = "Yes" then the cell in "Column D" needs to say "Yes". And if a cell in Column B = "Other" and a cell in**"Column C" = "No" then the cell in "Column D" needs to say "Not completed".

    re: IF with multiple criteria

Hi. Before we get going on this one...

Is your forum profile showing the Excel PRODUCT that you need this request to work with?

The best solutions often rely on knowing WHICH Office PRODUCT (Excel, NOT Windows) that you have. Please check that your forum profile is up-to-date. If you aren't sure, in Excel go to File/Account and report what it says below the MS logo at the top of that page. If your version is for Mac, please also state this.

The three most recent Excel PRODUCTS are Excel 2019, Excel 2021 and MS365 - if you are using MS365, please give this name along with the Version number in your profile (e.g. MS365 (PC) Version 2211). The version number is in the About Excel section further down the Account page.

Also, screenshots aren't much use. See yellow banner (top) for instructions on how to attach an Excel file.

    Cheers,

    Glenn.

    Re: IF with multiple criteria

Hi. Forum Rule 1 is very short. It states: "Title must briefly summarize your request."

A GOOD thread title is the sort of thing you would use as a search term on Google*. Your chosen title would produce a squillion useless hits. In future, please take a bit more time to think of a descriptive title that would be "Google-friendly". Many people search the forum answers looking for help and your very general title wouldn't help them at all.

Since you are a new user of this site, on this occasion, I have changed it for you.

However, if you continue to use weak titles, you can expect to have your thread BLOCKED until you change it yourself. If that happens, to edit the thread title, open the original post, click "Edit Post" (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

    *Other search engines are available!!!

    Regards,

    Glenn.

OK. Please edit your profile to show that.... It currently says "Excel", which tells us nothing useful. Model it on mine.

    Re: IF with multiple criteria

No. You need the product (e.g. Excel 2019, Excel 2021, MS365) and then the release number (that you have given in your last post). Also add 'for Mac' if you have the Mac version.

This all needs to go in your profile.
