Hi everyone,
I am trying to figure out the best formula to forecast the orders for the given day, based on the previous days and today's data both.
I tried using the AVERAGEIF function, but then I only identify the average for the previous days without considering today's trend.

From what I have seen, Excel has two other basic forecasting algorithms preprogrammed in: ordinary least squares regression and exponential triple smoothing. If either of those algorithms represents the algorithm you want to use for this forecast, we can help program that into the spreadsheet. If you are looking for a different algorithm, help us understand the forecasting algorithm you want to use, and we should be able to help program that into the spreadsheet.
