SUM Rows In One Column Based On Matching Data In Another Column

Hello, I'm trying to work out how to do something that probably has a really simple solution.

I'm trying to SUM the results for a given person's name in the sheet.

I.e. count up all the points for Shaun, all the points for Dan, all the points for Kate as shown below.

There are around 500 people to count up points for though each month so ideally I could spit something out with both the name and the corresponding points rather than needing to type each name then a corresponding formula.
