Best way to Hyperlink to documents in SharePoint

Pleading for help please

I am not an excel wizz and am really struggling to get the Hyperlink function to work in my workbook with an error that returns "Cannot open specified file". I have followed processes in unchecking the update links on save etc to no avail.

I have numerous sheets that I need to open a link within a glossary worksheet so that when the links are updated in the glossary sheet they will automatically update elsewhere in the worksheets. This is to save time in maintaining and updating numerous worksheets with links to the same link (hope that makes sense). However, I keep getting a "Cannot open specified file" error when clicking on the cell with the Hyperlink function.

All the documents are from a link (URL) within SharePoint - is the =Hyperlink function the best way of going about this or is there another way? I have included a couple of images to hopefully help understand what I am trying to achieve. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Not sure if i am following you completely, however, i believe you need to direct excel to the file or excel workbook. If it is on sharepoint you could open the file and copy the UR L and do the following
