Hello! Just wondering if anyone could help with the file attached.
Need a formula in H which yields the results shown i.e., For every Value in B and C in combo is repeated together then only grab the Value in F corresponding to the greatest date for the combo.

i'm not sure i'm following - why the last value in the example , you say in example the UNIQUE value - well you have 6 all the same in B and C and then choose the last value - not Unique
perhaps
=IF(COUNTIFS($B$2:$B2,B2,$C2:$C$2,C2)=MAX(COUNTIFS($B$2:$B$9,B2,$C$2:$C$9,C2)),F2,"")
maybe some more examples may help

Hi, Yes we have 6 all the same in B & C , then we have to choose the value in F which corresponds to the greatest date (4/6/2023) in this case. So have to take the greatest date in G into account for each set in B&C.
will there ever be 2 or more dates that are the same in the list - so 2 or more max dates in G the same with the same B&C
Same B&C may not always have two or more dates. Sometimes they may have only one unique date. If unique date then get value in F . If two or more dates for same B&C combo, get value in F for the greater of the dates; others will be 0 for the same B&C.
I may not have explained correctly , i understood that part , its a different situation i was asking for clarification on
what happens if
B&C are the same but the date in G is also the same
In your example - what happens if all the dates for
235062-22-001 CLEANING
are the
6/4/23
so 6 entries ALL the same dates and B&C all the same
what value of F are then shown
Solved, i used the first formula
That gives the last value as explained in the post - NOT the latest dateSolved, i used the first formula
so if the dates are not in order , it will not work
But if your happy , and dont want to answer the further questions - then you can mark as solved as explained in my signature on first post
