I am having trouble doing, what seems to be, a simple addition. On the "Overall" tab, column D should result in a grade (a number from 1 to 9 based on the vlookup), but I keep getting a #value error. I suspect it could be because one of the referenced cells is blank. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks
'2019 Speaking'!F3+'2019 Writing'!I3+'2019 Reading'!S3+'2019 Listening'!M3 is causing #VALUE because '2019 Listening'!M3 is explicitly set to "" by a formula and later this cell is included in an addition with + characters.
If you replace the addition with a SUM, the value will be ignored and no #VALUE will arise.
I suspected that may be the case. How do I incorporate SUM into the formula?
