Post Calculate FTE based on start and end date of employee for a number of years

    Hi

I am trying to calculate FTE for a number of years (2020,2021,2022, 2023) based on start and end date.
If an employee worked the whole year then it would 1.00 FTE, if they worked half of the year then they would be 0.5 FTE.
I am dividing the numbers of days by 365.

Column G = start date for employee
Column H = end date for employee (for current employees, I will not have a end date so this cell would be blank)

Cell M1 = start of financial year 01/01/20
Cell M2 = End of financial year 31/12/20

Cell N1 = start of financial year 01/01/21
Cell N2 = End of financial year 31/12/21

Cell O1 = start of financial year 01/01/22
Cell O2 = End of financial year 31/12/22

Cell P1 = start of financial year 01/01/23
Cell P2 = End of financial year 31/12/23

    Can you help please.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
