This is stumping me a bit.
A coworker asked me if it was possible to apply conditional formatting to her workbook. She does not want to add any formula/reference columns or rows.
Column A: a list of part numbers
Column B: quantity of those part numbers in stock (this is x)
Columns C-T (possibly more) list of part numbers required for a build
What she is asking is for conditional formatting to look through the C-T range and to highlight the first x amount of parts, referencing Column A for the part number and Column B for the number of items to highlight.
So if cell A1 = 12345 and cell B1 = 5, it would look through Columns C-T and only highlight the first 5 instances of "12345".
Is this even possible with conditional formatting or would this be more of a VBA thing?
